THE WEEKEND BACKPACK MiSSiON!

Our commitment: No hungry kids on Pine Island!

Each Sunday evening our Youth Group fills bins with food items to be packed for the coming week. On Wednesday morning a crew of adult volunteers load up 170 back packs with food for the weekend.

On Friday they are delivered to the Pine Island Elementary School for distribution and are brought home by area kids.

Each Monday the empty back packs are picked up from the School and brought back to the church where they are cleaned and ready to be re-filled.

We are always looking for financial help with this project!

If you would like to make a donation you may bring your check to the church office any weekday from 9-5

Please write "Back Pack" on the memo line of your check.

If you would like a receipt, simply include a note with your check including your name and address and one will be sent to you.
