I
want to thank you for your interest in Pine Island United Methodist
Church of Bokeelia, Florida. I want to invite you to come and become
a part of this great community of faith!
We
are a church with a great island tradition and a contemporary expression
of faith. Our future as a community of faith looks very bright!
We truly believe the best is yet to come as we commit our congregation
to missions both locally and globally. Our church is among the most
mission minded United Methodist congregations in the state of Florida.
We are a blended congregation with a family oriented church that
will not treat you and your family as just another number among
the crowd. You will find our church provides a friendly and caring
atmosphere in which you can experience spiritual growth and wholeness.
We
have a variety of worship services that begin with a Saturday
evening casual worship service, 9:00 a.m. Contemporary Worship
Service and 11 a.m. Traditional Worship Service. A Nursery is
provided for the Sunday morning worship services. We offer an
Adult Choir, a Bell Choir, a Contemporary Worship Team, and Drama Teams.
We
have a strong emphasis on small group ministries. We encourage all
new members to participate in ongoing small group learning and support
activities. We are an Emmaus Reunion Group center. We want to invite
you to feel free to become a part of any of our Sunday School Classes
which begins each Sunday at 10:00 a.m., they offer everyone friendship
and study. We encourage you to express your gifts within the life
of this church, through our ever expanding variety of mission and
ministry activities. Our ministries of worship and praise are supported
by groups of every age, Voice and Bell Choir and our Drama &
Dance Groups. We offer Disciple Bible Study Programs, Crown Ministries,
ALPHA Ministries and offer seekers a basic understanding of the
Christian faith. We offer
a performing arts based program that invites artists from all over
the nation to some and share their gifts with us.
This
church is a dynamic and vital congregation of faith that will
be glad to help you not only profess your faith but continue to
mature in your walk with Jesus Christ. Come join us as we press
